El Capricho 



El Capricho is a park in Madrid. The word caprice is Spanish for "whim" or "caprice." It was created by María Josefa Pimentel, Duchess of Osuna, on her estate at Alameda de Osuna, which was then outside the city of Madrid. It is landscaped in an eighteenth-century style with formal and naturalistic features.

Hours: Depends on the area, but most of the park is open until 11:00pm.

The park is FREE - but some of the experiences are paid, depending on what you are interested in.

Temple of Debod



This park is known for sunsets and live music almost every night. It is also very close to Plaza España and has a beautiful view of the palace. The park also features an ancient Egyptian temple that was gifted to Franco and is worth visiting to further understand the history.

Botanical Gardens



Beautiful gardens and a very nice art gallery inside. With over 5,000 species of plants and decades of historical context, the grounds display a wide array of biodiversity throughout much of the year.

Casa de Campo (Lake)



Casa de Campo is the largest urban park in Spain. Situated to the southwest of Madrid, it's flanked by the banks of the Manzanares River, the municipality of Pozuelo, and other wooded areas such as Monte del Pardo. Near the metro stop, there is a lake surrounded by cafes in which you can row little boats and watch the sunset. There is also a beautiful view of the city and the palace.

Location: This is a whole area of ​​Madrid; there is no specific address, as it spans 4,257 acres

Campo del Moro



Campo del Moro is a park in Madrid, Spain. It was designed in the 19th century under the rule of Queen Maria Cristina, creating a garden with a clear English style and following the romanticism of nature.

Sabatini Gardens



These gardens are attached to the Royal Palace. They were opened to the public by King Juan Carlos I in 1978, with 3 terraces, fountains, statues & outdoor events.

Juan Carlos Park



The Juan Carlos I Park was inaugurated on the occasion of "Madrid European Capital of Culture 1992". With its creation, a highly degraded area was recovered, respecting an existing century-old olive grove, with a 30,000 square meter lake and a 1,900 metre estuary. 21 hectares of olive groves, 19 outdoor sculptures, a garden called the Three Cultures, a greenhouse called Estufa Fría, and an Auditorium.

Cine Doré is the hub cinema of the films shown by the Filmoteca Española, a program of the official Ministry of Culture of Spain, whose objective is to research and preserve the cinematic history of Spain. The theater shows films of all genres daily.

Matadero



Matadero Madrid is the site of a former slaughterhouse, El Matadero, and Mercado Municipal de Ganados are in the Arganzuela district. Today, it is a contemporary arts center featuring a museum, space for concerts, shows, movies, etc. There is also free space to wander and two cafes.

Circle of Fine Arts



The Círculo de Bellas Artes is a private, non-profit, cultural organization that was founded in 1880. Its building, located in Madrid, Spain, was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1981. The CBA is a major multidisciplinary center with one of the most active cultural programs in Madrid. The beautiful rooftop has a five-euro fee, which includes access to the multiple galleries downstairs.

Centro Centro



Opened in 2011, this space offers an extensive program of temporary exhibitions, conferences, concerts, and cultural activities. From its rooftop Mirador, it is possible to enjoy a 360-degree panorama of the capital's skyline, one of the finest views in Madrid. It is located in the Cibeles Palace, which was the headquarters of the Spanish post office for over a century, although today it houses the Madrid City Hall.
