Spring is approaching and the first sign is the flowering of the almond trees. Surely you have already seen some in Madrid, but if you want to see areas full of white and pink flowers, we can recommend some places. The best known is Quinta de los Molinos (Calle Alcalá 527, Metro Suanzes, line 5) and it is really worth visiting. You can find more suggestions for alternative places to see almond trees here: https://www.timeout.es/madrid/es/que-hacer/parques-jardines-almendros-en-flor-madrid
On the other hand, it is also interesting to discover how artists have reflected their relationship with nature, which is currently about to "get dressed to the nines." Now you can discover that in a new exhibition at CaixaForum (Paseo del Prado 36, Metro Estación del Arte, line 1). Through a collection of pieces from the Center Pompidou, this exhibition reflects on the past and present of the relationship between art and nature, between culture and science. Picasso, Kandisnky, Dalí, Le Corbusier, Raoul Hausmann, Dubuffet, Paul Klee, Aalto, and many more... In other words: Painting, sculpture, photography, design and architecture in a single exhibition. Do not miss it!
